My linked production has been handed in alongside the completed crime drama opening.

My linked production was returned to me for additions and corrections. I added more descriptions and dialogue into the script and handed it in when it was due.

We completed the video (overall) on the day of the deadline by adding extra transitions between the different shots and then added title credits which were made on photoshop and transferred to the video. We also added a soundtrack for the credits as well as the montage sequence.

While viewing the completed video, I realised that there is a wide diversity within the cast. This is unconventional with the roles. Usually, the detectives and the forensics are portrayed by caucasian actors but in our video, the detectives are played by asian actors and the forensic is played by a citizen of the african community.

The first draft of my linked production has been completed and handed in. The grade i recieved shows that only a small amount of work is needed for me to get the highest mark possible.

My linked production is based on the script for the opening sequence of the first episode of season 2 of the drama. The script ends where the credits begin to roll.
We completed the remainder of our filming on Friday 29th January 2010. we used Sarah's office to film the office scenes of the crime drama. We used props such as a gun and bracelet to complete the filming.

We borrowed the camera for a weekend so we could try and complete the filming. We met up on Saturday 16th January (2010) to film but decided to film on Sunday instead. Because of some unfortunate events, I decided to film a small part of the drama on my own with help from family members because the rest of the group couldn't make it. I filmed the opening scene of the drama and also the flashback scene of the drama.

When I got back to college, I told my team members what I had filmed and on Wednesday 20th January (2010), I uploaded the footage and finished editing all the footage I had. we decided that Asiya would be sorting the opening credits whilst Navid would take care of the logo of the drama (Key Witness) and the production company (Killer Studios). We have also decided the music we are going to use (The Veronicas, Supermassive Black Hole) and the style of the credits.

I have researched how to write a script effectively and also taken some example movie scripts from the internet and  analysed them.

To keep my work organised and to monitor my progress, i have set some deadlines for the different parts of my linked production.

I hope to have my first draft of the script completed by Sunday 17th January 2010. this draft will include a rough sketch of the narrative for the script, characters taking part, setting and main events.
We have begun work on our individual linked productions. We have three choices for the production. We could do a TV script, a storyboard or a DVD cover. I have decided that I will be doing a TV script because it is one of my strengths.

Originally, I wanted to do a DVD cover but i decided it would be too complicated and stressful for me to first learn how to use photoshop and then implement my knowledge. Also, i am creative with writing and would find it much easier to create and write a script.

We have completed the step outline, dialogue script, music and sound research. We are now beginning to put our opening sequence together although we still have some footage which needs filming. we have also created a company logo for our production (Killer Studios) and a title for our show (Key Witness).
